Enough About Me... Now Lets Talk About Me...

Behind every business is the creator.  The creator behind Ivy & Bloom is me, Patrice Veyna.  I hate writing about myself so I thought it might be easier to list out some facts about me!

Some of my favorite titles - Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend & Florist.

I was a Theater Geek in High School and still a big part of who I am.

I majored in Theatre Arts at Pepperdine University and a Masters in Education from LMU (rival schools I know!).

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca

I love laughing and being awkwardly sarcastic with my husband.

I previously was the owner of Sincerely, Vave/Vave Studios - Flower & Meditation Studio in Los Angeles (sadly had to close after we moved to Sonoma).

Moved to Sonoma and opened Ivy & Bloom.

I have been designing with flowers ever since my first flower design class when I was a 9 year old Girl Scout.

Which leads to that I was a Girl Scout through High School — Yep I am painting myself out to look pretty cool in High School.

I am both a dog & cat person

I was very shy growing up and have challenged myself as an adult to be more socially outgoing.

I am a major Bachelor Nation Fan, have been since it first started.

I was obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (both the movie and the TV Show, even had a comic book)

I love comedy TV Shows such as Schitt’s Creek, Parks & Rec, Friends, & The Office (just to name a few!)

Margaritas are my go to drink (usually spicy ones!)

I love any Taco Tuesday - In Fact, I met my Husband at a Taco Tuesday

I love being creative.

I wish I could garden and I try really hard to pretend I have a green thumb.

I love starting hobbies (Many I have not been great at lol) Currently loving Crepe Flowers. I have probably stalked every great Crepe Flower maker on instagram.

I believe you are never to old to start something new!

I love wearing felt hats! They kind of are my signature thing. It all started when my husband got me one in an airport for Valentines Day.
